About Us
Child Future Africa is a private voluntary organisation that was registered in 2002. It runs an orphanage shelter in Mt Darwin, Mashonaland Central province in the northern part of Zimbabwe.
The shelter is situated on a 10 000 square metre fenced premises. The project runs two houses with 2 foster mothers. Child Future Africa is set up in a rural model with the shelter being close to a farm that produces grain for their daily consumption and surplus grain is sold to generate income. A school is there within the vicinity to provide education to the young minds, thus uplifting the youth academically. The main element is to develop Child Future Africa into a fully self-sustaining project in the local community. Pivots of CFA are agriculture and education.
